Art was a United States Navy Veteran, proudly serving during World War II and in Korea in multiple roles.
Art was assigned to several vessels including the USS William T. Powell DE 213.

Art grew up in the Rockdale section of Aston before becoming a resident of Brookhaven on Trimble Blvd. for over 50 years. Art was active most of his life from lifeguarding at White Sands pool in Aston to playing baseball in different leagues. He was employed by several Banking Institutions and several industries along the Delaware River (BP, Sinclair, Sun Oil).

8th grade graduation – Crozerville School (in Rockdale).
Art graduated from Media HS but missed the graduation ceremony as he enlisted in the military.
4/16/1955 – Art and Jean Grant were married for 58 happy years until Jean’s passing in 2013.
Art (striped shirt) played on many teams at Brookhaven Lanes including the Trinity United Methodist Church Bowling Team.
