Gas Generator Safety Tips

1) Always operate it outdoors, away from the windows, doors, and vents
2) Always turn off the generator and let it cool down completely before refueling
3) Use a heavy-duty, outdoor rated extension cord, rated for the generators wattage or amperage. Ensure cord is free of cuts or damage, and all three prongs are intact
4) Properly ground the generator to prevent electrical shock
5) Operate the generator at least twenty feet (20’) away from your home, garage, shed or any other structure
