Aston Township has been chosen to host The Wall That Heals. The Wall is a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that resides in Washington, D.C. and a mobile education center. Attached is a tentative schedule of events and activities and they are hoping that residents from surrounding towns will take the opportunity to visit The Wall.
They are planning an opening escort (October 6th) where they may be travelling through your Town — more information to follow.
The Wall will be open 24 hours/day from opening ceremony on Thursday, October 8th at 10:00am through the closing ceremony on Sunday, October 11th at 1:00pm.
