| The goal of the Historical Committee is simple: |
| To help the Borough preserve and celebrate its history; collect, study, and disseminate the history of the borough. Some of the programs underway include Hometown Heroes and Notable Neighbors, as well as uncovering many anecdotes of the people and events from Brookhaven through the years. |
