Wishing everyone a safe and happy New Year 2026! Let’s all work together to keep our community safe.

As we welcome the New Year, please remember to be cautious and courteous to first responders while driving. If you see flashing lights or hear sirens, slow down and safely pull over to the right side of the road.

Please also obey parking laws. Illegal parking can delay emergency vehicles and put lives at risk. This includes:
- Parking in fire lanes
- Parking in a prohibited zone
- Parking where signs indicate “No Parking”
- Parking on the restricted side of the street
- Blocking a driveway
- Blocking traffic
- Parking in a handicap space without proper authorization
- Parking on a sidewalk
- Parking within 15 feet of a fire hydrant
- Parking within 20 feet of a stop sign
These violations impede emergency vehicles from reaching people who need help quickly.
