| The Technology and Communication Committee is to oversee the implementation, management, and improvement of digital communications initiatives. This committee’s goals include enhancing public access to information, streamlining government operations, and fostering community engagement through technology. Tools: o Borough Website o Borough Cable Channel (Comcast channel 5, Verizon channel 33) o Brookhaven Alerts o Clock Tower (At Memorial Island) o Council Meeting Minutes and Recording o eCode – Electronic Code System o Monthly Newsletter o Phone system o Security Technology (e.g., card access, cameras, lighting system) o Social Media (Facebook, YouTube) o Trasir (Code Enforcement/Public Works) |
